DIRECT SALON LTD is a store which offer great trade prices, seminars , deals to benefit to trade customers. Some products can also be purchased by the general public at the retail price . By submitting your details you are confirming that you are a qualified hairdresser/salon business owner and as such are competent in using the products sold on this website. We will not be held responsible for any injury or damages incurred by users of the products we sell. As a business user, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using. We will accept recognised Hairdressing Certificate as proof, which you can now upload directly to the website. Full requirements are displayed on the website. We do not supply to wholesale accounts online. Wholesale accounts are opened via agreement with office. Orders placed unless agreed will not be honoured.

Payment in full is required to be made by PAYPAL. You can also pay by BACS, please contact us prior to placing your order to arrange payment by this method.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 working days however this can vary due to stock availability. Furniture and equipment orders are normally delivered within 2- 4weeks although some items may take 8-10 weeks. You will be advised of the estimated delivery date shortly after your order is placed. We use a courier delivery service for all orders dispatched by us to UK mainland (some larger orders are sent direct from manufacturers). Please allow an extra working day for delivery to UK Offshore and Rural Scotland destinations. Delivery times to European destinations are usually between 3 – 8 working days. Delivery times are quoted in good faith and we cannot accept liability for any expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or late deliveries. Delivery of overseas orders may be affected due to political conflicts, such as war, civil unrest, martial law etc.
Delivery notification service (including 1-hour delivery time slot)
In order to keep you up-to-date and to deliver your goods at the most convenient time for you, we’ll pass your email address and mobile number (where provided) on to our courier company so they can email you throughout the various stages of delivery and/or text you when a delivery is due to be made. These messages will also include a time slot where delivery is estimated to take place and will give you the opportunity to delay your delivery for between 1 – 3 working days if more convenient for you. Please note that this service is only available for goods dispatched by us through (currently Interlink Express) to UK addresses.
We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Item which are stock items will normally be processed and dispatched between 1 and 3 working days from order depending on the items ordered. Delivery prices start from £5.50 plus VAT for most parts of the UK this excludes any large or heavy items. The Channel Islands, Offshore islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. Again this excludes any large or heavy items.
Delivery to European destinations
Prices quoted at checkout are for mainland areas of the delivery country only. In some circumstances the standard delivery charge quoted may need to be increased to allow for large and/or heavy items, however you will be informed of this before your order is dispatched.
Product restrictions
Please note we cannot send aerosols, flammable or hazardous items to overseas destinations. Please do not order any restricted items if delivery is to an overseas destination.
Customs
When purchasing goods for delivery outside the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. You are also liable for any additional customs clearance charges; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the United Kingdom it is your responsibility to comply with all laws and regulations of the countries the goods will travel through and where delivery is to be made.
Your online account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately.
Ownership of goods
We will retain ownership of the goods you order until we receive full payment for the order including any applicable delivery charges. Once the goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Returns
Returning goods bought online is no problem, all we ask is that they’re returned within 28 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging. Please email us at directsalonltd@btinternet.com to inform us of your intention to return goods and whether you are looking for an exchange or a refund. Goods must be returned to the address shown below please ensure a copy of your invoice/receipt accompanies the return. We strongly recommend you use some form of recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for any lost goods. Furniture and equipment orders may be subject to additional conditions. Please see below for details.
Due to hygiene regulations we cannot accept returns (subject to our discretion) of the following products if the packaging has been opened; Scissors, Razors, Cosmetics, Hair brushes, Hair extensions, Body jewellery. This list is not exhaustive and does not affect your statutory rights.
Furniture and equipment items
Most furniture and equipment items are built to order or custom built; these items are subject to the following additional terms of cancellation or return: Furniture and equipment orders cannot be cancelled more than 5 working days after being placed, we may in rare circumstances accept the cancellation or return of an order outside of this time scale however this is at our discretion and may be subject to a charge of up to 20% of the value of the goods as well as the delivery charge
Faulty or Wrongly Delivered Goods

4 | Acceptance of your order |
4.a | Our products are sold for personal use only. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless we actually dispatch the products to you. Your order (including payment) is an offer to buy from us, so nothing we do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually send the product to you. At any point up until then, we may decide not to send the products to you and to give you a full refund. If an item is out of stock, we will let you know and unless you then request your payment be returned we will hold your payment until the product is next in stock. 5 | Delivery and charges |

5.b | Our delivery within the UK is usually 1-5 Working days (excluding weekends and National holidays). Our delivery overseas is usually within 7-14 days. Reasonable allowance should be made for orders made over the weekend and at National Holidays. We do our best to deliver within 30 days of the date of your order but shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control. |
6 | Cancellation and return |
6.a | You have the right to cancel your order for goods at any time before dispatch. If the wrong items are sent and you want to cancel please keep securely and return to address in section.
